A standard home inspection will note obvious signs of rodent activity — droppings in the attic, chewed wires, visible damage. But most inspectors aren’t rodent specialists. They’re not trained to find every entry point, assess the true extent of an infestation, or tell you what it will actually cost to fix.
We are. When we inspect a home, we’re looking at the entire exterior with a rodent expert’s eye. We find the small gaps behind kick plates, the poorly screened vent, the gap in the roofline that gets missed on a standard walkthrough. We go under the house. We go in the attic. Garage doors, service doors, gas/electric meter penetrations, and utility conduits are common entry points most people overlook.
HVAC & Duct Penetrations
Anywhere a duct, pipe, or conduit enters the structure is a potential rodent highway if it isn’t sealed correctly.
